EPAN – education Program

We are committed animal and nature conservationists, which is why we launched the wonderful “EPAN” program. EPAN stands for Education exchange for Nature and Animal Protection. It is aimed primarily at people serving criminal or preventive-detention sentences and the long-term unemployed, but is not limited to these groups.

In exchange for their nonprofit, volunteer work on animal and nature conservation projects, interested participants receive educational vouchers that they can redeem at participating educational institutions, giving them access to free training and further education. These projects are not limited to our own NGO — we work together with local and global animal and nature conservation organizations to offer as broad a range of opportunities as possible.

Through this, we want to give the long-term unemployed and people who otherwise have very limited chances on the primary labor market another opportunity to re-enter the workforce.
